Global Outreach Leaders is partnering with Talibe Trust in the mission to end child trafficking. We are hosting an art exhibit on human oppression to raise awareness and support for the epidemic plaguing the world today. Senegal is one of many places that suffer from the phenomenon of child trafficking.
Many talibe children in Senegal end up on a migration path far from their home alone. Young children arrive in the big cities where they can be easily exploited, trafficked, abused and are exposed to serious health problems. We are committed to working with families and stakeholders in rural areas at the source of one of the biggest migration paths in Senegal. We are working towards building a self sustainable school model in one of the rural villages. We work towards ensuring child safety and we really need your help.”
The event on December 7th will include an array of engaging and mind provoking images presenting oppression for people to bid on, live classical music, great food and wine (available with ticket purchase). Speakers from various entities such as the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Bridge Refugee, Helen Ross McNabb Foundation and much more will share their groundbreaking stories and solutions towards ending oppression once and for all.
